I update it every Sunday and Wednesday night, so it's ready to go before you can get a print edition of the paper. How cool is that? And even cooler, you can have The Times-Delphic delivered to your inbox, so It'll be the when you wake up! Just register at — you guessed it — www.timesdelphic.com!
The Times-Delphic is quietly making its triuphant return to the Web, but we've still got a ways to go. About 40 people visit the site everyday and view about five pages while he or she is there. No one has commented on an article yet. You don't have to register to post your thoughts, although I encourage it so you can get that e-mail edition.
So, in the words of Elwood Blues, "Tell your friends" about www.timesdelphic.com!
My other promotion of the day is Local writer publishes teen novel This is a Quad-City Times article so local is Davenport, Iowa and writer is my grandpa, Jon Ripslinger.
I haven't read it yet (the Post Office has seemed to have misplaced my copy) but I've read his other two books — Triangle and How I Fell in Love and Learned to Shoot Free Throws — and they are both excellent.
And for more information, visit his Web site www.ripslinger.com

Nice work on the site, Jennifer. Has the TD announced in print that the Web site is back up? I haven't paid close enough attention to the print editions to know... Oops. Anyway, maybe people don't even know the site is working again.
... And I think you should blog about non-sports stories. :)
